Privacy

SourPod is a product of LazyCode LLC, a Texas limited liability company. This page explains what we collect when you use sourpod.com, why, and what you can do about it. We've kept it short because there isn't much to say.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist we collect one thing: your email address. We don't ask for your name, and the site doesn't set cookies or run analytics or advertising trackers.

If you email us, we'll keep that conversation so we can reply to you.

Why we collect it

We use your email address to tell you about SourPod: when the Kickstarter campaign opens, when there's real news, and occasionally something worth reading about sourdough. We aim for a message every few weeks and never more than one a week.

We don't sell, rent, or trade your email address, and we don't share it with anyone except the service that stores it for us.

Where it's stored

Our waitlist is managed by Kit (Kit.com, formerly ConvertKit), an email service based in the United States. Kit stores your address on our behalf and sends our emails. Kit's own privacy policy is at kit.com/privacy.

Your choices

• Every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Using it removes you from the list immediately.
• If you'd like us to delete your address entirely, or want to know what we hold about you, email hello@sourpod.com and we'll do it within a few days.
• If you're in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional rights under local law to access, correct, and erase your data; the email above is how to use them.

Children

Our site and waitlist are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change how we handle your data — for example when we start taking orders — we'll update this page and note the date below. If the change is significant, we'll email the list.
